Meet Dr. V

Word on the street is that Dr. Kyle Viloria is an incredibly talented dentist. However, he is so much more than that. Dr. Viloria seems shy, quiet, observant, and unassuming, but don’t be fooled. This guy will dance circles around you. He is a visionary and an innovator. His fashion sense is to the nines. Traveling and making memories with his wife is essential. He was a black belt for 11 years, sings karaoke, dances like there is no tomorrow, does backflip burpees, and plays the ukulele – all on the side. Good food and good times are all the rage in his day-to-day life. Plus, you will find no one who loves his family more. Dr. Viloria is a free spirit, indulging in his spiritual side regularly and remembering the importance of a healthy mindset. 

Dr. Viloria’s most significant influence growing up was his grandmother. Being a second-generation Filipino American born and raised in Virginia Beach, he was greatly inspired by his grandmother’s incredible hard work and determination. She shared stories of how she was forced to quit school in third grade to help her family out after the Japanese invaded the Philippines in World War II. When she was older, she moved to Virginia Beach to be closer to her children and grandchildren. On her dime, she opened a grocery store and became a successful boss lady and businesswoman. He explained, “Growing up with my grandmother, she taught and instilled in me that gratitude, hard work, kindness, and being respectful and charitable will help me be the best version of myself.” He added that being in the presence of his grandmother has helped him appreciate that every individual is unique and has an important story of their own to share. 

Dr. Viloria’s passion for fun, creating beautiful things, and service led him to a career in dentistry. Early on, he was fascinated by the positive impact dentistry can have not only on a patient’s health but also on their life. He recalls observing a dentist who primarily practiced cosmetic dentistry. The evocative reactions he observed from patients were something he wanted to experience all the time. To him, dentistry represented magic – an encounter where you are left wondering, “How did that happen?” Since then, he has been transfixed and dedicated to the study of dentistry. 

Although he is now a successful practitioner, Dr. Viloria’s passion for delivering top-notch care never ceases. You will find that he is always finding ways to increase his knowledge as well as improve his skills. When asked what lights him up, he replied, “I get excited about helping my patients become more confident. I want to see them experience more love and joy in their everyday lives. To witness them smile without a care in the world is the best feeling. It’s something special when you can have that type of impact on your patients. I wish nothing more than to help my patients in such ways, all day, every day.” During interactions with his patients, Dr. Viloria harbors a deep love of hospitality. It’s vital to him that every patient feels valued, respected, and well taken care of, something not commonly seen in any healthcare field. 

And so there it is. You will never find a person who is more dedicated to their craft than Dr. Viloria. No one is more caring and passionate about the health and well-being of their patients. This is his truth. This is his story.
